Data protection notice

This policy explains how Home Extensions London handles personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Version dated: 15 October 2026.

Who we are and how to contact us

home-extensions.co.uk is operated by Web Designer Limited (company number 15002899, registered in England & Wales; registered office: 119a Flat 2 Uxbridge Road, London W7 3ST), trading as Home Extensions London (“we”, “us”). Web Designer Limited is the data controller for the personal data described here. Our address is 119a Flat 2 Uxbridge Road, London W7 3ST (our registered office). For any privacy question, or to use your rights, send us a message through the enquiry form (put “privacy” in the message) or write to us at that address.

Personal data we collect

When you send an enquiry we receive the details you type in: name, email, postcode, the kind of job, your message and whether you ticked the consent box. Our host also handles connection data such as your IP address and browser type so pages load securely. Please leave out sensitive information such as health details.

Purposes and lawful bases

The only purpose is dealing with your enquiry: replying, quoting, arranging a survey and, if useful, passing the job to an independent tradesperson with the minimum details needed for them to contact you. Our lawful bases are Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR, because you asked us to take steps before a contract, and Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interests in responding and running our business. Your details are not sold or used for marketing.

Who we share it with

Cookies and tracking

None for tracking: we run no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies on this website.

Keeping your data

We keep enquiries for up to 2 years after our last contact with you and then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

What you can ask us to do

You can ask to access your personal data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. Contact us as described above and we will respond within one month.

How to complain

Please give us the chance to put things right first. You also have the right to complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
